Ok...i think i figured out part of the problem...

Using "netstat" i found out the remote connection was trying to connect to my internet provider instead of a computer on my network??

I called the target computer "server" on my network and for some reason when i used another computer on the network it would try to connect to the telus.hsia.bc.ca server???

I personally don't have enough experience to configure the small network to have it stay within the home network boundaries. But if some of you can suggest a quick fix, i would greatly appreciate it..

I'm sure i could work around this by applying static ip address' for the network, and then configuring the DNS servers, but i don't have a static ip from my internet provider...
