Is this the same driver set that was floating around last year and made Creative take a temper tantrum? Just curious.
After installing this driver, here are the information I can find for ya:

Driver provider: Creative
Driver date: 28/01/2003
Driver version: 5.12.1.253

Hope that helps to compare with yours and come to a decision.

@All: well, what this modding does is trick the Audigy2 and MediaSource software to install on a Live! audio card. Good thing is the nice interface for EAX Advanced HD, Speaker Settings, Surround Mixer. Also some people can make the use of MediaSource Player. I couldn't use its record function, as it gave me an error. Also as I said before I couldn't make the MediaSource Go's buttons to work: Bads confirmed that. (But it will work in Windows XP -- not in XP SP1). The only thing which is better for me is the feeling I have the latest drivers for my audio card, and I can use the EAX Advanced HD under a nice UI. Otherwise you can use the genuine Creative drivers downloaded from here:
http://files.asia.creative.com/LiveDrv/eng/LiveDrvUni-Pack(ENG).exe
Note that the driver version is older in this one: which is 5.12.1.252.

I know I have a later version of drivers than that Creative released to the public. I heard there is the version 5.12.1.283 floating around, but I can't use it. Because now I am restricted to find only the updates of Creative SB Live youP-PAK III Play Audio Processor (WDM). Otherwise, if I update my current drivers by the genuine Creative drivers, the Audigy2 stops working.

Nothing pessismistic, hopefully I will be able to find updates from the same modded drivers of "Creative SB Live youP-PAK III Play Audio Processor (WDM)". Good Stuff.

Cheers,
McoreD
