Thanks for the helpful tip... I was able to use belthazor's advice to get the link working again... It may have been a temporary internet file lingering around that threw it off... Not quite sure though... After removing both the cookies and temporary internet files - it started to work again.
I was looking for a way to reinstall IE, but do not need to do this anymore. I will hold on to that tip though, just in case I have the urge to reinstall.
