i'd strongly reccomend that you overcome your boredom...
M$ prods including Outlook present the usual shitty security leaks that (it seems almost done on purpose...) are afterwards corrected by Windows Updates... and obviously as you use the OS those numerous Uncle Bill'$ nephews with strange names --- svchost, ntostkernel & wtf.. --- are always trying to call home when you're connected....
just set the configs of your firewall to asking mode for all apps trying to connect and you'll see...
IMHO you don't need anymore lil' buggers trying to report to Digiportal, Eudora, Trillian' makers & whatnot your every move...besides helping to cramp your surfing capabilities...
I personally stick to Mailwasher that is lightweighted, free, easily manageable and not curious, and then use the mail client embedded in the OS...
