MEMORY PRICES ARE STILL LOW and there doesn't look like being any DRAMatic changes on the horizon. With a large part of Asia celebrating New Year, many companies are closed.
SDRAM 256Mbit 133MHz chips are stood at US$3.45-3.80, DDR2100 chips are at US$4.20-4.80 and DDR2700 are US$5.30-5.80 per chip. Note that the prices are for individual chips, and not memory modules.

DDR is expected to drop slightly over the next few weeks but not enough to make a big impact. SDRAM, despite being in its twilight years, seems to be holding steady.
