heres a quote from Rage3D's board-
put the card in a static bad, throw it in the freezer for 15 mins, take it out, take it out of the bag, put the card on the static bag on the floor, lay a credit card or something simmilar down right beside the heatsink so when you use a flat head screw driver you wont wreck anything on the board...
and sometimes you dont even need the screw driver...just pry it off a little on each side (youll hear it come) till it pops off-
Is your card the OEM or Retail version? If its the Retail verison I don't thnk its worth all the trouble for a 10Mhz gain (not even 5%) and if its the OEM version be warned I fried one trying to run it over 270Mhz, luckely for me the store did a exchange(warrenty) and let me upgrade to the retail card.
