I think my problem appears to have been that my fan wasn't or isn't working properly. All of a sudden I heard it come on and i realized the previous days the back of my pc was unusually quiet. This isn't the first time its gone off. I suppose a swift tap will put it back in action, right? Anyways, I bet things were overheating and so thats why it shut off.....to protect itself from internal damage. However, if the pc continues to auto-shutoff even with the fan on, I'll know i need a new PSU anyways.
