Well if its not going to be used for any heavy gaming, and she is just upgrading from an 8meg card... I would get the cheaper one of course
She does not need any high end super-dooper video card, and both cards will work fine for her application. Usually you should try to stay away from the MX line of Geforce Cards because they are just dubbed down versions of the non-MX Geforce Cards, but in this situation, it is not a big deal. I would go with the cheaper one, but thats just my opinion. I dont know anything about the PNY that tubebuoy talks about
