AOpen recently introduced a new Pentium 4 motherboard, the AX45-4D Max. Based on the SiS655/963 chipset from Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS), the AX45-4D Max features support for AGP 8x graphics technology and 128-bit dual-channel DDR333.

With four DDR DIMM slots, AOpen?s new motherboard can offer a maximum memory capacity of up to 4GB. Designed on the ATX form factor, AOpen?s AX45-4D Max also offers one CNR, five PCI slots, six USB 2.0 ports and two IEEE 1394 ports.

Other features of the board include 1MHz Stepping CPU Overclocking, 5.1-channel audio effect with S/PDIF module, Watch Dog Timer and EzRestore, which allows users to go back to the last saved point if their system crashes.
