~*McoreD*~ is an unknown quantity at this point
This is something I noticesd for while. You know, sometimes when I download files by a 56k (=7K) modem, I get initial speeds like 29K! and it reduces 27K, 25K, 19K, 17K, 11K, 6K, 5K like that and then stays in an average constant speed around 5K. The question I have is, how come the initial speed rises upto more than 7K?

Because the 56k modem, afaik can handle maximum of 7K of data, I feel it is impossible that to happen. I have seen many times that happens - starts from like 25K and then reduces down to below 7K. I can't believe that happens! I am lost...

Do you guys know why?
