Try this!
Dont use an IP thru DHCP. Rather setup your network connection to use a static internal IP - 192.168.1.xx (2-99). Configure your tcp/ip settings in network connection to use this static IP. The setup port forwarding to the internal IP. That should do the trick!
And I see that you have a Linksys router. I have the exact setup and I always had a problem when I setup my FTP server using a DHCP allocated IP address. I setup a static IP for my computer and it worked like a charm!!!
