Some guy brought his PC to me and asked me to have a look at it, because he had some trouble starting games. Its not a "great" machine though. He's running a P3 755Mhz processor with 64 Mb of RAM and a Voodoo2 graphics card. So its obvious that he wont be able to play all the latest games. It is MaxPayne, GTA3 etc. But the thing that bothered me was that the computer picked up the Graphics Card but when I try and set some settings at the Display Properties the Computer kinda hangs. It looks like its trying to, or running a dll called Run32dll and this is causing the computer to stop responding. When I End the Task(Run32dll) the PC works fine again.
The Voodoo2 Card has to run with another adapter. The other one is an S3 graphics card. Could there be a compatibility issue or is it a Windows error. The drivers all seem to work fine.
