After you have done it, I thought I also should try my slipstreamed Office 2000. So I uninstalled Office XP SP2 and installed Office 2000 SP3. Surprisingly the setup said "Installing Office 2000 SR-1".
However the installation went successfully. But after I started Word it closed immediately. I knew this happened a while ago after I apply Office 2000 SR-1. Then I went to access and didn't open any DB. I quickly to a screenshot of the About (below). Wow, it says it is SP3! That is the only screenshot I could get, cos other all close. But Access closes too, as soon as you open a DB.

The Excel, Frontpage, Outlook all closed immediately as soon as I opened them
I dunno what we have done wrong. There may be several reasons. May be cos I uninstalled Office XP and installed it. May be cos we slipstreamed it erroneously.
