I guess you want to know how to install the drivers for the controller, right ?
Two routes:
1- Unzip the drivers to a floppy diskette.
Start installing XP from the bootable CD, go on with the install routine and pay attention to the messages at the bottom of the screen. There will be something like "Press F6 if you want to install SCSI...". You have to press the required key and insert the diskette to install the drivers. Then XP will resume installation as usual.
2- Install XP as usual, ignoring the "Press F6..." thing. Once it's finished and running, press WIN+Pause/Break to call the System Properties panel, go to Hardware tab, Device Manager button... see the hardware tree with the yellow "?" somewhere ? Right-click it to install/update the Promise drivers.
