hi, just asking a stupid question (if it is stupid ).

when some programs are uninstalling they ask to restart and you accidently press 'yes'.
oh no, shit you loose the internet connection or something like that.

is there a way to stop restarts or shutdowns, after you give the command to shutdown? ctrl + alt + del seems no help here.

lucky i had my outlook xp open. i uninstalled zone alarm and there was the 'okay' button to restart. i just pressed it and it started to restart forunately, after closing other other programs, a messege box popped up saying "please close all the outlook programs before restart". so i pressed 'ok' and i am fine again
i'd have lost the internet connection if it restarted. lucky eh

not a bfd though, just thought to ask if it is possible
