Yep, bean there, done it and bought a new burner
I overclocked my Lite-On 40x to 48x and it worked for aprox one month, after that, no go at all from the burner. You couldn't read from it and write to it, I tried to apply the original firmware, but still no go
So I had to buy a new one.
So my advice be carefull out there, when you're overclocking your burner
