Weird, I expected something like COM1: or AUX:

There is no obvious reason those folders can't be deleted. There might be programs that use thee folders, or registry setting that prevent the folders from being deleted. Of course the other option is that those folders are read only, or your account doesn't have the right permission to delete them.

Try booting into save mode, or try searching the registry for occurances of these names.

If all else fails, boot NTSF Dos Pro, and delete the folders. NTFS Dos Pro is on most n-in8 CD's.
