The problem is that the two boards will require some different drivers from Windows. If when you first boot up Windows properly finds all the new hardware and installs those drivers and deletes all the unecessary ones you are ok. It usually won't delete all the ones it doesn't need and they may come back to haunt you later by causing instabilities. You may be able to get by the quick and dirty way, but for best results, I'd do a clean install.
