Last week i updated my bios and did a clean install of xp pro and now i cannot get mty printer to work i have tried all the options i can find in the bios eg: normal ecp ecp/epp epp all different variations of each yet istill cannot get it to work. In windows i get these error messages
"operation could not be completed"
"PPC server is unavailable"
"error accured during instalation"
in the hardware manager the printer is hidden and has a yellow mark against it and in the properties of it it says LPT 1.4
Can anyone throw ant light onto this problem for me
