Disregard the stuff above. Got another problem with a 56k isa modem. Put it into the same slot as the 28k was in. Installed it and it sayed could not find a modem or something like that. Uninstalled and reinstalled about 5 times, that didn't work. Changed isa slots and reinstalled it, got it to try to connect but it basically said i was missing tcp/ip. Installed that restarted and it couldn't find a dial tone. Switched the phone line back to the 28k and it got on (same phone line, connected to the same jack). So i swithed it back to the 56k and it said i needed to change the network stuff again(tcp/ip), but it was already installed. Can anyone help me by 10-12-01? thanks. btw, both modems are on com2. the comp is a 486 with 40mb ram, running win95. again, thanks.
