thanks for the replies i downloaded the bios update again there are a few info txt files then the 2 update files. i did boot up with a 98 bootdisk but i put the bios files on the disk as well i will try and boot up with the 98 disk and put the bios update on a seperate disk but when i did get to the A: promt i typed flash802a.exe aba46.bin and had bad command so now i will check in the bios to see if there are any signs that have to be disabled so i can update My M/B is a 1St Mainboard model AD11
