you may need to consider this too, although you don't say what MB you are using, you may need to enable bios flashing in the bios. alot of motherboards now have an antiflash setting in the bios.
It makes a difference on award, ami, bios different bios flash different way..
what I do when I need to flash the bios is pretty simple, I just use the win98 boot disk and pick number 3, takes you straight to the dos prompt..
