SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 18, 2002 -- Intel Corporation today introduced the Intel® Celeron® processor at 2 GHz. Intel Celeron processors provide consumers with a great way to get on the Internet.

The Intel Celeron processor at 2 GHz delivers the right combination of features and frequency at an appropriate price point for the value desktop consumer market segment. Based on the 0.13-micron process technology, the processor utilizes the 478-pin packaging, and features a 400 MHz system bus.

In 1,000-unit quantities, the desktop Intel Celeron processor at 2 GHz is priced at $103.
