If you've been around OCIA.net for very long, you may already know my feelings on choosing a power supply. If not, here they are: always buy the best-spec'd PSU you can afford. When building a new rig, if you have to cut corners, do it somewhere else - don't skimp on the power supply. Never choose a PSU that is the minimum for your system. I'd get a minimum of 25% wattage more than is required. If your new video card manufacturer recommends a minimum of 500 watts, choose a 650 watter or more.
