I think the key is good for 10 systems and you can re-activate as many times as you want. As long as the hardware configuration does not significantly change, it counts as the same system.
When you register to download RC1, Microsoft will send you an e-mail message with download instructions and credentials to access a community of private Windows .NET Server 2003 newsgroups. The e-mail message will also contain instructions on how to obtain your unique Product Key, which is required for installation. You must use this key each time you install Windows .NET Server 2003 RC1. The software can be installed on up to 10 unique computers. Note that to gain access to the download site, you will need a Microsoft Passport account.
