You simply cannot break up a raid. The drives will have to be formatted and fdisked for sure. Data loss is inevitable.

Com 1 and 3 are the same prt and so is com 2 and 4. A modemm should work just fine on com3. Mine is on com4.

Time Warner has supplied my modem but no router. I am using all linksys equipment for distribution no problems. Be careful on the dsl modem you get alot of vendors are giving internal cards only....

Right now there are not that many manufatures of drives. WD and IBM crosslicense and make for eachother. Maxtor and Quantum are the same. Toshiba and Samsung make drives along with Fujistu. Never had...
