there is no way other than having the new depends...

there is no way other than having the new depends on the old to have them both on the boot choice menu, otherwise you have to unplug the other hd and vise versa each time you try to move between oses.

this is the best way and i do it all the time ,you are right just use daemon and in the advanced option choose copy setup files to hard drive and you could do a clean install from there with a format...
