Hi,
The helpfile of my "Serv-U Version 4 Beta Build 1" mentions that in the IP Access Rules besides IP address als IP Names (eg hostnames) can be included. Somehow this doesn't work, or at least not in my room. When I do a try the resolve the name from the same machine Serv-U is running is resoves the name ok, so no DNS problems here. Anyone know this problem, and better, how to solve it? It bugs me because not everyone has a static IP address, and services like dns2go seemed to solve that problem. But since the access restrictions permanently give Unautorized IP Access on any and every hostname, it seems I can only serve those witch do have a static IP adress. Thanks, Cheers, Cactus |
Do you still need help with this ???
