I have some svcd made with NERO and I want to put them into my hard drive  ;)

All I see in these CD's are file .dat  :blink:

How can I do that please ?

associate .dat files with your media player, and it will open..

Or just open it with your media player...

I can do that but there are 3 or 4 .dat files in 1 CD  :blink:

Hey bads, Have had a couple that I've gotten same way>  Extract the dat files to HD.  Change DAT to MPG.  Will play just fine.
AVSEQ01.DAT .> AVSEQ01.mpg
AVSEQ02.DAT  > AVSEQ02.mpg  ect

What I don't understand is svcd usually leaves them as an mpg while vcd changes them to dat file.

Also if you try to combine the files to 1 big file will get out of sync

I want tu change my video files marked as .dat to .mpg. I read something here about extracting them in HD But what is that HotRod

when burnt to disk as VCD will change mpg file to DAT file. Use ISOBuster or choice and extract dat file to had as a mpg file. If files already on the drive, most of the time, can change extension.
