I have looked extensively but cannot find a place to purchase a discounted msdn os subscription that can be bought from Canada.

Anyone know of anywhere I can do this?

Yes..  you can create an company, fill out a form, and send Microsoft $300, and in return they will make you a partner, and give you their entire MSDN library of developer tools, programs, and operating systems.

The software is only licensed for as long as you maintain your action pack subscription (however, it doesn't quit working after you quit paying ;-) The yearly renewal fee is only 1/2 of the original subscription price ($150). Its a deal you can't beat unless you work for Microsoft.

yeah that does suck that you have to keep paying everyyear, but it doesn't cost much to renew it and you get the latest software so thats cool
