I've been casually ripping my cd's that I've been getting over the summer, so that I may bring just a few cd's to school, and not have to bring a whole crap lot of cds with me. I also don't want to lose the originals. :)

I'm using EAC as the ripper with the latest LAME plugin (external). I'm encoding at 320bit rate, and the sound is amazing. :) Much better then easyMp3. :):):) Oh ya..

This program detects errors in the cd and works around it so that the sound is uninterupted. I have found a new toy to play with. :)

I know that is not the only combo out there, what are some other technologies being used?
