It's used to say thank you in threads, you can click on the thankyou button on the thread and a reply comes up by thankbot saying you thanked the topic writer

I think it can also be used to see hidden text

It's for people who are too lazy to take a moment of there time to compose a message. :)

It also adds a cool thumbs up button next to the Add Reply button :P

Please note everyone that if you add a reply to a thread and just say thanks or something like that without adding anything important to the thread, you should use the Thank You Bot.

He he he, and I dont think it increases your post count so it won't look like your spamming the board !!! :) :rtfm:

A ThankBot is a great way to say thanks and to keep the database of the forum compact.......

All of the above statements are true.
Talk about a lazy answer. :P

We used to have a thank you bot around a year or a year and a half ago. It was introduced (a hack) by an early member, Genious001, and everybody liked it pretty much. A way to say thanks without having to think, without having to sa produce a lot of pages with lazy styled "ty".

Now it's back and I would like to say thank you, to whoever, who managed to bring it back.
