Hey,
How do I change the damn Resolution in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell? I cant choose any other resoluctions. It is stuck at 640*480. Thanks, Will |
What is your Vid Card how much Memory and what Monitor? (Are you using a TV? Because when I go out to my 36" TV thru the SVGA I am stuck at 640x 480, But I can go all the way to 1600 x 1200 (128 MB DDR nVida card)
"Because if you have a 128MB graphics card stuck into the AGP slot of a super system, you can enjoy the various pieces of genuine small art the game tosses at you. The game is aware of the resources it has at its disposal and uses them accordingly, so on different systems you'll have different options regarding shadow levels, texture quality, screen resolution and stuff like that. And you just HAVE to see how the moon casts dynamic shadows of leaves dancing in the wind on your back, damn! " Quote from a review of the Game. So it could be the driver for your card, Are you using the Patch 1.2? Code:
Date 16-4-2003 PATCH 1.2 |
next week will come patch 1.31 i think
othervise you could change res. under options display setings it works fine for me (and if you have ATI Radeon9800 pro) is damn good game |
oh ok download 1.2b patch now
hopefully that will let 800*600 work. Since I am only using 32mb card at the moment. That and: GeForce 256, Radeon 7500 cards and Xabre 200/400/600 cards (with 3.11 drivers) are now officially supported. And I am using a geforce256 so. |
