Lowering the noise of your power supply
Burn Out PC has posted an article on psu noise reduction.

"Just like everybody else in this world, I would like to have a silent pc, running at topspeed, but without sounding like LAX-airport on a busy day. The logical way to go would be to watercool the entire system, from CPU to PSU, but I don't feel logical today, so I'm going for aircooling all the way."
