I would like to start an FTP server in Linux.

I am worried about things like bandwidth (I think it has been capped but not sure).

Like Jessicas server it would probably be only for a few people at a time (say 2 or 3) because upload speed is a bit shitty (128k :o )

Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Best bet would be to only aloow a couple people to keep speeds up

Best LinuX ftp server is proftpd which serves even @ www.kernel.org . So head up to www.proftpd.org and have fun with the big documentation there. :p
