Hello BetaONE

I am trying to "edit" out some numbers on some School pictures I scanned of my Daughter...

Yeah, I am Cheep...

The Pics I scanned into TIF pictures, but these are Proofs with numbers in the lower portion of the pics..

Is there a Photo Program that will remove the numbers, and fill in the area to look correct...?

I have tried Photoshop 7, and have not been able to figure an easy way to do this..

Any Ideas Welcome...

Thanks

The stamp tool is often usefull. Clone a part of the background and stamp.

Thanks .unicorn

Thats what I ended up doing, I used the stamp tool, and a smudge tool to make it look even more natural, and all is fine...

Thanks for the tip...

for future reference, you may want to try using paintshop pro over photoshop. It's childsplay to remove anything you like from any picture using the clonebrush in paintshop pro. Or, you can copy and paste a small area near the area you want to cover up just as easy.

Hi there and1and.

Yes, paintshop works well to do this, BUT, the Stamp Tool in Photoshop does the same thing. I have used both and both have the merits, BUT, there must be a reason why Photoshop is the leader. ;)
