you probably could build one yourself for cheaper, but if you can't build one yourself, then it sounds like a good system to me.

I would agree with you adams73533. But he also is getting a monitor included in that package. If he were to remove the monitor, he would have saved himself about a 100 bucks... For the price he is getting on that package, it doesn't sound like such a bad deal.

Of course, like you said, it may have been cheaper to buy the parts and put it together yourself. But for the price he is getting, I would take up on it! :)

@ ~*McoreD*~,
Let us know how you make out with the system! :)

i shop the rebates at office supply stores so i can usually get monitors for pretty cheap. (envision 17" for about $30 after mail-in rebates).

but yea let us know what you decide.

You have already seen my reply in another forum. To add more to this, I did indeed test the performance between the Ti4200 and the FX 5200 and I have to say that the Ti4200 would be your best bet for a graphics card. The only advantage of buying a FX 5200 would be that it is DirectX 9 compatible. Other than that its performance is equivalent to that of a GeForce MX440.
