I just started learning how to use linux, and was wondering if anyone might be able to help me figure out this problem Im having with the quotas.
When I edquota <user> and change the blocks for the new quota, I recieve this error: edquota: WARNING - /dev/hda2: cannot change current block allocation Any ideas why this may be happening?? |
Are you logged in as root?

heh of course I was logged in as root. last I checked you could only edquota as root :p

My bad, it was a silly question (but you gotta make sure) :o
