I formatted a hard drive using a Win98 Setup disk (FAT32).
Then I used Smartdrive and proceeded to install Windows Server 2003 Enterprise edition. Setup started and loaded some files, then I had to reboot. Setup again continued and eventually the message "Starting Windows" appeared on the lower left of the screen. Got the three choices...to repair, exit, or setup windows. I chose to setup windows and then it came back with the message "Setup cannot find the EULA" and that was it...only choice I had was F3 for restart. How do I fix this? Would making the CD Bootable fix this? If so, how do I make it bootable using roxio? (can I use the windows xp bootable disk guide and substitute certain files?) |
i tried this one before...during the installation, i thought that the computer hang so i reset. That was the reason why i get that message. If I were you, just leave that portion of installation , donot reset and wait for the message something "Hit enter bla blablabla"..

ok you may be on to something, because the first time it loaded files it never actually told me to reboot...it just sort of sat there for a long time...so i manually rebooted and it seemed to continue. This time i will wait for it to prompt me i guess.
Anyone else have other ideas? |
I have encounter this problem once...the ram is likely the culprit, incompatible ram I think try swapping the ram.

It is another bug in windows  and it is only in xp and up <_< just make it bootable here is a guide on how to make it bootable for xp but it is on the same lines for 2003 http://winxp.bink.nu/
