Hi

I am using XP Home OEM with SP1 and all updates from M$ and just recently, over the last two weeks or so, I have been encountering problems with the broswer (v6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2):

When I have loaded a webpage and want to save it to my favorites, I would press Ctrl & D to save the URL in their, but after doing this, the URL would take ages to appear or would not appear at all.

I would then click on the X in the top right corner and the page would go but it would still be shown minimized in the taskbar. Right-clicking on it and choosing 'close' would have no effect so I then have to press Ctrl-Alt-Del to get the Windows Task Manager and then "End Task". Another window would appear asking me to "End Now" (or words to that effect) and I'd click ok and it would then remove the page from the taskbar.

This is very annoying and I would like to know if anyone else is getting or got this problem and if so, how is it corrected?
