I don't know much about mIRC, but I would like too. So I thought maybe somebody could make a kind of tutorial now that we have the B1-Mirc channel. What I think of is f. ex. how you register your nick ? Why has somebody a + in front of their nick others have @ others * others nothing ? Where to find the serving script if you want to advertise a link or a server ? What commands do you use ?
As you see, I'm a totally newbie on this area:o Homie |
Working on it...
We are working on a new version of our script which will hopefully be more customised and user friendly. It will automatically join you into the correct server/channel, and will feature a kinda toutorial wizard on startup. |

** DOH *** just realised now I had posted the wrong link...
First beta. Still crap. But at least its easy to use. Just type a nick, and pass, and it automatically handles nickserv registation etc, and joins you into the correct channel and server. Ill be working on getting the toutorial links to work. |

There are all sorts of tutorials and modifications for mIRC out there here is a link to mIRC's offical FAQ http://www.mirc.com/faq.html And one for scripts: http://www.xcalibre.com/ If you do a Google search I'm sure you'll find a ton of information on mIRC it's been around for a long time.
