I've known about RT for years. He has a LARGE cult following not only as a singer/songwriter but as a guitarist as well. I've even had a few cyber freinds send me 'real' CDs and I still didn't get it.

Until now.

I've had this CD on 'repeat' for the last 4 hours and I'm gonna play it some more! Now, I can hear you asking "what's it like tube?" Well, I'll try and explain. It's Celtic Folk/Rock. If you've ever heard Traffic's "John Barleycorn Must Die" (the SONG, NOT the album) you have a basic understanding.

Consider this "12 variations on a theme by John Barleycorn must die". Not that the songs 'sound' like JB but, they FEEL like JB.

Yerp, this album has a foot in the past and an ear in the now.

Grade A. Best album of the year so far.
