Hi Mysterio,

Try this one Dirprint 4.0 http://members.fortunecity.com/wimh/
I used it to manage my MP3 folders with it.
You can export it to Excel or something similar.

HOW TO: Add a "Print Directory" Feature for Folders in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;321379

SUMMARY
This article describes how to add a "print directory" feature for folders in Windows XP. After you follow the steps in this article, you can right-click a folder, and then click Print Directory Listing to print a directory listing of the folder's contents.

Create the Printdir.bat File
To create the Printdir.bat file:
Click Start, click Run, type notepad, and then click OK.
Paste the following text into Notepad:
@echo off
dir %1 /-p /o:gn > "%temp%\Listing"
start /w notepad /p "%temp%\Listing"
del "%temp%\Listing" exit

On the File menu, click Exit, and then click Yes to save the changes.
In the Save As dialog box, type %windir%\Printdir.bat, and then click Save.
Create a New Action for File Folders
Click Start, click Control Panel (or, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel), and then click Folder Options.
On the File Types tab, click File Folder.
Click Advanced, and then click New.
In the Action box, type Print Directory Listing.
In the Application used to perform action box, type printdir.bat, and then click OK.
Click OK, click OK, and then click Close.

Edit the Registry
WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

After you follow the steps in the previous sections, Search Companion may start when you double-click a folder (instead of the folder being opened). Or, if you have associated other actions with file folders, those actions may be performed instead.

To resolve this issue:
Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
Locate the Default value under the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell

Click Modify on the Edit menu.
Type none in the File data box, and then click OK.
Quit Registry Editor.

Hope this can help as well :)

Check out Folderview -- It will list all the files in a directory and give you the ability to print them out.

FolderView v1.81

FolderView lets you view the contents of any folder on your computer, and then print it out or save it to a text file on disk. This is very convenient for times when you need to send someone the contents of a directory. You can simply attach the saved file to an e-mail and send it the other person. The directory contents can be sorted by name, file size, file type, or date modified. FolderView even gives you information on your MP3s, such as the artist, song title, length of the song, and more!

- Completely customizable
You can sort the directory contents by name, date, file size, file type, and even media duration. Even change the font size to suit your needs!

- Great for multimedia
Supports duration information for MP3, WAV, AVI, ASF, WMV, and MPEG files. For MP3s, it provides advanced information such as artist, song title, etc.

- Great for images
Print out folder contents with image dimensions. Supports JPG, GIF, BMP, and PNG files

- Multiple save options
Save the directory contents as a plain text file, or as a comma-delimited file to be used with Excel

there's an easy way to do this with dos too:

cd to the dir you want to list, then do a dir /b >C:\listing.txt and it'll list all the files / folders in the dir and output it to listing.txt in c:\ with just the names, no addditional info

I still think Directory Printer 3.43 does it all. Edited No PM'ing allowed to get cracks
