i got a creative 12x10x32 burner, xp pro, 512mb ram, 250watt ps. haven't had any problems until recently (last 3 or 4 days). whenever i try to burn one (between 650 and 700mb) it gets about 40% done then writes the table of contents, but the no cd drive will read it. then the nti quits responding. after i finally get nti shut down, then the burner just keeps searching for a disk (the green light blinks about every 10 seconds).

now heres something else, i installed a promise ide controller card to put my zip drive on about 2-3 weeks ago. is there any chance that i'm not having enough power to finish the job?

well getting a 350w power supply seemed to have solved the problem so i am closing this thread now.
