Hi i just installed this system and ive got most of it set up now like the directx and sound and stuff but i cant work out how to get my pictures to show up in the start menue.

taskbar properties > start menu > customize > advanced > we can see my pictures options:
display as link
display as a menu

but none of them seems to work.
prolly they've forgot to remove that from the start menu properties, although they removed it from my documents. we found something! :D

yeh i seen that and tryed it and found the same,so does that mean there is no my pics

aqually i got my music going

fast user switching is also disabled or removed. proved once more, it is not for home use.
but in my case all the administrators need to access the server without wasting time till other guy logs off.
they shouldnt remove it, other than disabling it. :angry:

couldn't come up with a better alternative. gave up messing with the regedit and Desktop.ini.
this is what i ended up with. can u try it yourself please? :)

this is what u should do:
in windows 2003 server
go to your My Documents
extract the zip file and u will get two folders: My Music and My Pictures

when u have done:
go to taskbar properties > start menu > customize > advanced > my pictures set display as link
log off and then log on again.
check your start menu. :)

if you have already made a folder called My Music and/or My Pictures, and you have got stuff in it, please back those files up to a temp folder other wise those files will be replaced by the new empty folder. (not sure).
