Hey!

Im looking for a good DVD copying program.. like one that will copy the video + audio at the same time. Ive tried one so far.. it was a while ago so dont remember the name.. but you had to extract the audio file, then the video and merge them.. when i made the video the audio lagged about 10 seconds behind the video.. So i kinda want to go a different route. Anybody know of a decent one that will do this ?? Much appreciated

DVD Shrink :

What is DVD Shrink?

DVD Shrink is software to backup DVD disks. You can use this software in conjunction with DVD burning software of your choice, to make a backup copy of any DVD video disk.

DVD Shrink does not burn DVDs! The output from DVD Shrink is saved as files on your hard drive, which you can then burn to a DVD-R using separate burning software, such as the software provided with your DVD-R drive.

Of the 3 mentioned DVD Shrinks works good and will do an encrypted DVD, DVD2One will not copy an encrypted dvd and dvd xcopy will copy all of it. DVD Shrink will let you choose the compression and even let you edit scenes out. I use dvd shrink and copytodvd, haven't had any problems with either so far. The best thing about DVD Shrink is, it is free.

DVDXCOPY XPRESS was just released not too long ago. DVDXCOPY Platinum is just around the corner, which I am eagerly awaiting! :) I currently am using DVDXCOPY 1.52 to back up my purchased DVD's and using the backups so I do not scratch the originals. It's a great piece of software. Check out their site:

I use a very simple program to copy DVD's. And its freeware too - DVD Decrypter. It's one of the best DVD ripping software out there and it can even rip encrypted DVDS too. All I do is use this proggie and make an image of the DVD if it is a single side DVD and then use Alchohol 120% to burn it to a DVD-R. If its a dual layer DVD, then its alltogehter a different story.

Go to doom9.org and you will find a lot of help in the forums over there.
