Why no attachments allowed in Chit Chat section?

I noticed this before, but never got around to asking if it was that way for a reason or by mistake. Just asking.

If everyone put up attachments hositing space would go down quite quick ...

What things would you like to attach?

I'm just pointing out that the option to post an attachment under other sections of the board is there, but not in Chit Chat. Just asking if there was a reason or if it was just an over site. As for the file size of attachments I've used they are small. I used HyperSnap to reduce the quality/file size down to about 30% of quality. I could always use a free site to post a picture and just put a link here.

EDIT: Never mind ~*McoreD*~ told me about the [img] feature and it seems I don't need the attacment menu at the bottom of the posting. B)
