most of what you listed should, nav is the one exception i don't know if it would work or not, but, there's a small util called ntswitch that can switch an os between server and workstation mode on the fly, use it, install anything that won't install, then switch it back to server

I use it as a game server on one computer and have had 0 problems with any games, I also use it as my audio/video editing machine on the same computer (removable hard drives). I have most of the software you ask about installed except for NAV it won't instal, not the pro version anyway on a server box.

I am using it as my main OS ever since the early betas. It seems to work well with everything that works on XP.

The only problems are when an app is specifically programmed not to let you install it on the server OS - NAV and Partition Magic are the two I have discovered.

These programs run on Win 2k3

NAV Corp ver 8

Zone Alarm 3.7.159
winRar 3.2 beta 3
Optimize Registry 1.0
Yahoo Messenger 5.5
Alcolhol 1.43.410
Partition Magic Server 4.

It's called TweakNT. I don't use it to change between workstation and server.

hehe

TweakNT may do it, but ntswitch was the original....
