Can the Norton Anti-virus Corp. version work with it? If not, do you know any?
|
Words from someone in the know......
"The problem is not the software, but the system kernel. I don't think you will find any firewall or antivirus working properly with this thing." Hope there is a solution soon.!!! |
AVG seems to work for me..

Norton AntiVirus Coporate Edition 7.6 works with Windows 2000 Server. No Problem. :)

McAfee VirusScan Enterprise Edition 7.0 works with 2003 server, it is on mine and working.

if you don't want to use an enterprise av scanner, find a proggy called ntswitch, use it to change windows into thinking it's a workstation os, reboot, install nav or whatever scanner you like, run ntswitch again, and reboot again
usually only the installers care if you are using client or server, i've tried installing a lot of stuff on 2k3 server that was meant to run on a client os like this before and never had a problem |
CA ETrust Corporate is a wonderful piece of software, the best, and I tried most of them...
|
Haven't tried the others, but Norton Corporate Edition works fine.
