oke here we go

i have a cable modem and a lancard (3 com )

for the other pc we have a realtek card


build into mine

iam conected by 3 com to the internet , the other pc is crossed to the realtek card

now we have a hub how do i connect the cables because internet for the client is not working

is it neccassary that the cable fro my modem is connected directly to the hub- from hub to 3com card - and other pc also on the hub

anybody has an idear or a page or is an expert on linux plz help me out

also the other pc is a windows machine

if you are using your pc as a "router" the connect it to the hub also.

guess i have to read some more stuf because i dont get it working yet
